Journey to Wellness
Welcome! I’m Ericah Miller, practice owner and therapist. As a working mom of two, wife, friend, and sister, I understand how life can feel full, complex and emotionally demanding all at once. I’m passionate creating space for healing and meaningful change.
My approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in the belief that therapy should leave you feeling seen, heard and equipped with practical tools for real life. I help clients build and strengthen their arsenal of coping skills, deepen self-awareness and reconnect with themselves in ways that support lasting growth and resilience.
While I deeply value supporting women and people of color, I welcome clients of all backgrounds who are seeking a culturally responsive, supportive space for healing and personal growth.

Who I Serve
Healing from
Childhood Trauma
I support adults who are ready to process unresolved childhood trauma and better understand how past experiences may still be affecting their relationships, emotions, and daily life. Together, we identify trauma responses, develop healthy coping skills, challenge negative thought patterns, and create space for healing, self-awareness, and lasting emotional growth.
Need Clarity Through
Life’s Hard Transitions?
I support women who feel stuck in relationships, overwhelmed by parenting, or uncertain about their next steps. Together, we work through overthinking, relationship concerns, life transitions, and emotional stress to help you gain clarity, strengthen boundaries, trust yourself, and move forward with greater confidence and intention.
Support for Everyday
Stress & Life Challenges
Even when life looks “fine” on the outside, stress, pressure, and emotional exhaustion can still take a toll. I offer a supportive space to process everyday challenges, navigate life’s demands, and gain new perspective so you can feel more grounded, balanced, and supported in your day-to-day life.

Frequently Asked Questions

While I am in-network with Aetna, I operate primarily as a private-pay therapist and do not bill insurance directly for plans with which I am not contracted. However, I can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits for possible reimbursement.
I can bill Aetna directly for eligible services. For clients using Aetna, coverage, copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and authorization requirements vary by individual plan. I recommend contacting Aetna directly to confirm your specific mental health benefits before beginning services.
By operating primarily as a private-pay practice, I’m able to provide care that is centered around each client’s unique needs, treatment goals, and therapeutic process. This allows for greater flexibility in treatment planning and ensures that sessions are guided by what is clinically appropriate rather than solely by insurance requirements.

I currently offer virtual therapy only and work with clients located anywhere in the state of Texas. Sessions are held securely online, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your own space.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and completed more than 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience as part of the requirements for independent licensure. I also successfully completed the national MFT licensing examination and the Texas licensure process.
As an independently licensed therapist, I am able to practice without ongoing clinical supervision and provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families based on their unique needs and goals.
-
My primary clinical training is in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). This approach helps clients process and work through the impact of trauma by building coping skills, identifying and reframing unhelpful thought patterns, and gently processing difficult experiences in a structured and supportive way.

My current private pay rate is $150 per 50–55 minute individual session. Couples or specialized sessions may vary depending on the nature and length of the appointment. Payment is due at the time of service, and I can provide a superbill if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance.
In alignment with Texas BHEC statutes and the No Surprises Act, a Good Faith Estimate is available upon request to provide transparency around expected costs. Rates are reviewed periodically, and any updates are shared in advance.
